October … the sequel … enjoy the fruits of your labour!

Welcome back to the rest of October.  The last fortnight proved uber busy (and stressful) and the Sun in 18 rather played out for me over last week, that’s for sure!

So, for the rest of the month here’s what I see … Jupiter shifts on the 14th from the gate of insights (43) into 14 and the gate of Great Harvest (Huang’s wording) which seems rather appropriate as Autumn is certainly showing its colours.  This energy is positive and expansive (as is Jupiter’s own energy) however it also has a cautionary aspect; King Wen recognised he had achieved a great reward for hard effort but was careful not to overplay the success and to remain humble enough and not to take too much.

Saturn is also on the move and returns to the gate of Joy (58) on the 17^th – this energy is all about the reward (the joyous feeling) after making the necessary corrections (or undertaking sufficient practice), it’s about the pleasure of mastery.  So the second half of the month has two key players in positive gates, a time of allowing yourself to own and feel good about the progress you have made.  Perfect as we head toward the final Pagan harvest festival of Samhain (Halloween) on the 31^st.

We also have a nodes shift too – 21^st we leave the 31/41 combination we’ve been living through since the end of May and move to 56/60.  Sooo, as a collective we are heading toward (north node) the energy of gate 56, the Wanderer/Travelling.  I like this gate (it’s one of my design ones) it’s a throat gate, so part of manifesting and expression, storytelling.  In essence it’s about the attitude we take when travelling in a foreign land, we should be mindful of the traditions and ways of those we are visiting, being a respectful guest is another way to consider it.  When we return home we have stories to share and an expanded sense of humanity.  Nodes nearly always move in an apparent backwards motion so we start with line 6 …

Chetan’s Book of Lines for 56.6 – Re-examining – Assessing the boundaries of what is truthful.  Your beliefs shape your perception of reality, bringing a certain quality of experiences. 

The south node will be 60, so we are moving toward travelling and the Wanderer from a base of containment/restricting (or limitation is another name for this energy). 

With the south node in 60 we have a long term (into 2019) transit that activates the 3-60 channel for everyone.  This hooks up the sacral work energy centre with all things adrenaline and survival in the root.  3-60 is one of the format channels which means it has a powerful effect and this one is part of individual circuitry . . . this should spell a period of being able to move ahead with new ideas and businesses with Uranus bringing initiating energy into beginnings and the south node grounding that 60 energy of containment which in this channel makes for sustained growth, step by step, as represented by the bamboo, small segments that build to strong, tall and flexible plants.

Venus has stationed and is now in retrograde bringing 5 weeks or so of inner contemplation with all things relationships, love, money and the goodies in life.  The first half of the month focusses on 44, coming to meet, which I explained last month and then moves backwards through 28 and the gate of struggle.  So perhaps a chance to reassess what you have been struggling with and shine the light from a different perspective, Mercury is conjunct for a few days mid-month which may bring some greater insight.

The new moon is on the 9^th at 03:49 GMT in 57.2, the most intuitive gate in the Human Design wheel.  We also have Ceres in 57, she’s all about nurturing but can be a vengeful energy too if she doesn’t have her way and Saturn is still in 10 at this point which activates the 57-10 – this about survival energy linking intuitive knowing and a deep sense of self.  An interesting new moon energy.

Brian Browne Walker has this for 57 line 2 – A hidden enemy threatens.  Search your subconscious for negative influences.  The aid of a counsellor can be beneficial. Chetan speaks of being aware of hidden agendas. 

The full moon is smack bang on my Sun’s position!  And is also conjunct with Uranus’ position in 3.5, on the 24^th at 16:47.  So we have initiation energy in Uranus grounded by the earth and amplified by the Moon.  Oo er, 5^th lines are always a bit tricky and easy to misunderstand as well, and gate 3 is ‘difficulty at the beginning’!  Be aware of the need for flexibility when creating something new, resist the urge to force through the whole concept in one go and be mindful you may have to take into account the unexpected.  This is a Taurian gate of course – flexibility isn’t much of a Taurian trait!

For the whole month we have the 32-54 channel activated, again, the upgrade!  So everything about this month is speaking to me of reaping the rewards of early hard work and being able to move forward with the new.

We also have a marriage made in Asgard at play from the 22^nd with Odin at large in 18 and Frigga at the other end of the channel in 58 - this is the channel of Judgement of course, seems rather appropriate! Freia sits in 49 all month, the gate of Revolution and Revolutionaries, a warrior Goddess, working with the energy of Revolution … hold on to your horses!

8^th- 13^th Sun in 57, Earth in 51 … could be some shocks about but a lot of intuition to tap into so keep your wits about you and trust your knowing. Mercury (all things communications) is working through values and then struggling somewhat and Venus is in review and perhaps really checking out those that are coming towards you.  Be aware, Mars is still feeling sensitive so all in all be mindful this week, especially with that New Moon energy.

14^th – 19^th Sun in 32, Earth in 42 … a much steadier energy, a good one for plugging away at projects with Mercury  and Venus working together in 44, knowing who you are facing … they are conjunct on 15^th, just as Jupiter has moved to 14 (see above).

Chetan Book of Lines – 32 line 2 (15^th) Avoiding Extremes: Holding a steady course.  You are either alert during times of change, or become confused by interacting with others.

20^th – 24^th Sun in 50, Earth in 3 – we have the full moon here, see above.  Mercury is now in 1, the most yang and creative, with the Earth in 3, beginnings, a good time perhaps to birth that new ‘something’.  50 of course is all about values and what works for the tribe.  And Mars is in the gate of the Listener, so all things work related may benefit from a listening ear.

50 line 4 (23^rd) Brian Browne Walker – A position of influence is a position of responsibility.  Neglecting your character now invites a humiliation.

25^th – 30^th Sun in 28, Earth in 27.  29^th we have Mercury conjunct Jupiter in 14.4.  This week is about staying grounded and nourishing yourself in order to avoid unnecessary struggle and remaining empowered.

14.4 – Chetan – Being Secure:  Personal security exists in having what you need.  You ensure your empowerment by knowing what makes you secure and having it in your life.

I drew a Rune after I finished this report asking for a theme for the month that I can share with you and it is Inguz.  This is so appropriate as it is the ‘seed’ and very much the energy of the Full Moon position and all about the potential that is now present and also resonates with the new position of Jupiter mid month.
